Sioma Falls Mobile Camp
The unique and remote Sioma Falls campsite is situated on a private white-sand beach dotted with volcanic granite rock at the foot of the magnificent Sioma Falls, the second largest waterfall on the Zambezi. Here, anglers can fish in the deep churning rapids below the falls for the large and strong tigerfish that are known to inhabit the area. This serene fishery also offers nembwe, humpback largemouth, and 3 spot bream to name just a few. Guests can also wade in and indulge in a soak in the natural spa baths below the falls.
Accommodation at the camp consists of comfortable 3m x 3m safari bow tents with genuine beds, fresh linen, and side tables. The tents are located a short distance from the ablution blocks which feature hot showers, basins, and flush toilets.
The main camp area enfolds a fireplace that overlooks the river. This area comprises a bush kitchen, outdoor bar, and dining area where guests can feast beneath the awe-inspiring African night sky. Book between May and November for the best fishing.
